Lard Workshop Britcon August 2023?

What’s the latest on this? I see that BHGS are selling tickets for it but I’ve not seen any announcements from Lard Island so far?

I at least have bought a ticket. So in a worst case scenario, one solo game will run.

It’s on! I’ll get a mail out and update Facebook today. We haven’t updated the brochure yet as there’s been a few other things happening on Lard Island so I haven’t bothered Rich with it!

It’s Saturday 12th August - space for 20 games with 80 players. The cost is £25 but that includes a £5 token to spend at the traders and lunch (last year was a very nice pre-packed sandwich, crisps, fruit, Mars bar and a bottle of water) so overall a net cost of £15. The Lardy boys will all be there with their usual high quality games.

We have the room from Friday lunchtime through to Sunday so plenty of time for set up and take down or indeed casual gaming. There is plenty of student accommodation available at £75pn for those wishing to stay over. Tickets can be purchased from the BHGS website.

Cheers Don, I’ll let the Tykes know - I guessed that ‘other stuff’ might be the reason for radio silence 🙂

Is it too early to say, "Put me down for two places!"? 8-)

Baron, the tickets are for sale via the BHGS/Britcon website (via the link Don provided) - Don just does the subsequent cat-herding.

Be warned, the booking form times out far too quickly if you’re trying to register more than a couple of people at once!

Registered for me and my chauffeur (we may even try to persuade the Perrys to turn up if they're not on holiday!).

Just booked but at the moment I can not find any details, beyond what is mentioned here. Is there any more details?
Looking forward to playing some of the Lardies games I have not tried.

You should have received an email from Don Avis on Wednesday (19th) with game details and asking you for a list of preferences so he can allocate games
