Ok is it me or do others find it a bit weird than an immelman costs 6 while a split s costs 7! That seems reversed…
As you dive you gain energy, climbing you lose it.
If you assume a generic break turn on the flat and do 1 1/2 of them (reversing direction 180 degrees) the cost would be 6.
Now flip it into the vertical add one level of climb (Immelmann) cost 7.
Reverse (Split-S) it add one level of dive cost 5.
Just sayin

I too think it is wrong. Strange, in the Algy rules, the costs are reversed, I think.

I thought of it as you build up airspeed going down hill so your nose is kind of buried which takes up more of your "pips" ... or something like that.
