Secenario 3 On Patrol Objectives.

Post by bandrsntch »

When playing Scenario 3 where the attacker must visit four distinct terrain features in four separate areas of the table, does the Objective Options table on Page 26 apply? I.E. The terrain features to be scouted can not be in an area that is horizontally or vertically adjacent to the area containing the attacking player’s Deployment Zone.

I'm just playing that mission now and we played it that way, especially as any terrain within 12" of their deployment zone is considered scouted.

Has there been any clarification anywhere on this question? I'm still not clear on how this is to be interpreted since area to be scouted aren't really objectives.

No. The pieces of terrain visited can be in any 4separate areas and you don’t count any that are scouted in the pre game phase - so everything within12” of you deployment zone is excluded.

There has indeed. If you see the Errata and FAQ which is now on Lard Island that will answer all of your questions.
