Is there an FAQ or errata for BTH2?

Post by Tom Ballou »

I have noticed a number of minor errors in the text. Just wondering if there is formal errata.

Hi Tom,
I can't recall ever seeing one. What do you have a problem with?

Mostly minor typos.

For instance the example on tailing on page 28 directly contradicts the table above it. The example says making a hard maneuver is -1 but the table says -2.

Yes in that case the Table is correct and the example wrong. We always go with the substantive text of a rule or table. The examples are just that, examples, and drafting changes may not always get picked up if the rule changes in playtesting. A bit irritating initially but the quality of the rules make up for these minor shortcomings to our mind.

*casts resurrection*

Anyone have any idea what the * after Section pilot in the Russian section of the pilot chart on p6 means?

The key has * relate to RAF/Coastal Command

Hi Tomm,

No idea, it might be a hangover from an earlier draft. I can’t see any other link. I’d ignore it.

The key definition is referring to the * which appears earlier in the table in the first RAF header line, namely RAF* to June 1940.

Ta.
I suspected something of the sort.
Or possibly I don't have the clearance for Comrade Stalin to trust me with that information.

Or possibly they are on the list to be purged if they fail to shoot down a Fascist invader! :)
