Tonight's the night it gets attacked by a Dremel :) I still haven't decided whether it's going to be intact or wrecked, and I need to do an interior. There's a lot of windows there, showing it looking very bare inside. But apologies for hijacking John's thread.

I think that you've merely expanded John's thread rather than "hijack" it, and done him absolutely no disservice in so doing.

And my schedule is under threat.. since my black spray undercoat ran out! And an old friend arriving in town unexpectedly on Saturday... will I make my Sunday deadline?

First paint undercoat last night, some additional colours and wash tonight, geez it look hideous before highlights, flock and debris, the drybrush and weathering!

Ok, last things to do, brickwork for the lower story, tidy up and (if I get time) dusty earth airbrush.. Not as good as John's but it's a serviceable piece of terrain.

Something that keeps tripping me up is how to decide the dimensions a building should have. I can do all the techniques and stuff but I always fall down at step 1 and end up buying an MDF kit instead.

Is there any decent rule of thumb? How did you plan yours out?
