Japanese stats and tactics for TW@T

Post by roughneck2 » Sat Jan 25, 2014 11:01 pm

Not sure if this may been posted elsewhere already but are there any stats and tactics for the Japanese forces. Looking at setting up a game between the New Zealand 2nd NZEF and Japanese forces in the Pacific. Any help would be appreciated.

regards
Roger

I use the stuff from the IABSM supplement In the Shadow of the Rising Sun. Works well for me. Good stats for the New Zealanders, too.

You're welcome.

I was a bit tentative at first when I picked up TW&T. But then I put it on the table and found that the game is an absolute ball, fast and fun.

Thanks again John.
The 'Rising Sun' supplement pretty much covers what I was after.
I must say I've been very impressed with all the Lardies rules and supplements that I've purchased so far. The way that they've managed to incorporate command & control issues, fog of war and Clausewitz's 'friction' into their rule-sets really sets them apart in my view.

Hi,

Without wishing to blow my own trumpet, I did quite a long article in the Christmas 2008 Special on late war Burma British and Japanese covering both TWAT and IABSM - it may be of some help.

Thanks for that Richard
I'll add the 2008 Special to the list.
Burma sounds like an excellent campaign to game.
