Numidians in cold climate

Any thoughts on what Numidians would wear when campaigning in colder climates like Britain. I assume they would adopt something a bit warmer than they are normally depicted in. Trousers?

Almost certainly they'd wrap up. Why wouldn't they?

In my opinion it's also likely that by the 1st century BC, most of them that had been in Roman service for some years would have donned armour. This is very possibly true earlier.

I'm looking at the Victrix Cavalry (and eventually Infantry). As a compromise between reality and making them visually distinctive that if I cut the legs off and replace with Gallic legs I'd have the said unit type.
