New Youtube channel

Post by Crusty Colonel »

Hi there,
If you haven't already seen it, check out my new channel featuring the start of a Dux Brit campaign set in the Old North in AD617. There are several videos already, with more on the way.

Follow the trials and tribulations of Lord Ronal mac Donal as he leads his Scotti raiders into the fiefdom of Lord Edwin and his Saxons. Plenty of mistakes along the way, but it's a great learning experience for me, and great fun. Enjoy!

I’ve subscribed!
So that’s only 1 more rule book and one or two additions and figures:D
Pickets charge! I could go for what I call Skirmish Plus games in 28m 4 to 6 infantry regiments cavalry regiment and a battery of artillery.
Union and confederate. A bridge and a few buildings and lots of trees.
GdA 2.can that be altered to SYW and AWI ( at least I have a 15mm Brit. Army for that)
Then I have to live long enough to paint all that lot.
O Group is a problem for for figures CoC is in 28mm and IABSM is in 20mm early war and 15mm late war someone suggested 10mm for battalion level.
(I have 2nd Battalion 1st Foot guards Don. Featherstone’s WWII Rules from his 1960 book (Hells Bells. Is it that long ago?)
Hmmm I. Could rebase a Seleucid Army I I can fin javelin and slingers for Saxons (I can always coll them Greek Migrants except it was the Saxons who were migrants perhaps the Scott’s as they probably didn’t wear trews? 😎
