Replacement Leader

Post by LancasterMatt »

Had a case where the Leader of a Mob / command of 2 groups was killed. He was replaced with a Super Numerum. So 1 group has a commander.

Presumably, the other group doesn't and therefore must await the attention of a Named leader or the availability of a Sigma card after Tempus Fugit?

As you correctly say, as per 7.6.7 a killed leader is replaced by a Supra Numerum Leader (one of the boys!).

This SN Leader can still command the Mob or Formation as detailed by 3.1.2 on page 39 to move, shoot and fight when activated = he’ll need Signa Cards for everything else!

Yep understand that.

The point I was highlighting was where the groups were separate so only 1 of the groups would get a Supra Numerum who could then not be able to command the second group since he would have no command range.

If they're still a mob then he can still command them as a mob. If they are no longer a mob or Formation then yes, they will either need another leader to activate them or they can activate on a Sign card after the TF. Remember a Leader can activate the group as long as it's within his influence range - he doesn't have to be with them.
