Hi,
I just started using FoW cards. I was wondering how people handled the brigade command rolls so that one doesn’t give away which cards have troops and which don’t. With FoW cards holding a maximum of two units, most brigades will be split across more than one card - so multiple cards per command roll seems reasonable. What about blank FoW cards? How many cards per roll? Or, since FoW blank cards must be within a max distance of real troops, just pretend they’re part of that brigade?
I thought DB had a comment on that somewhere but can’t find it now.

Hi SD,
I have yet to use FoW cards in a game. I would be inclined to use your suggestion of allocating any dummy cards to individual brigades and simply rolling for the brigade concerned. However, I don’t see any problem if you wanted to create a brigade consisting of mainly dummy cards with perhaps one or two real units to maintain the maximum distance rule. Just roll as normal.
