Retiring and Retreating Units

Hi All

When a unit is required to retreat or retire does it have to move the full 30 or 20 cm once it has encountered formed friendly close order troops?

Hi Igor, once it’s completed the initial 10cm move and is 5cm behind a friendly close order formation it can stop retiring/retreating (and I think routing) until the next order phase. I think you can still continue moving up to the 30cm point if you want though.

I agree with Nick. They can stop behind the friendly close order unit or fall back the full distance.
