French Dromedaire cavalry ?

Hi All,

I have been fighting an imaginary battle between the French and British in 1801 in Egypt...I have a unit of French as Mounted camel riders how would they fight in a mounted melee....any ideas would be helpful....?

Might have to go back to the old WRG ancients rules

I can’t imagine the Dromedary unit would have been overly proficient camel riders and would have been at a disadvantage compared to cavalry. They weren’t designed to fight as a mounted unit. I would have them as -2 against cavalry.
