Transferring C-in-C Ability Rating

Post by Cearapeter »

Hello All

In a few days we will fight the last of the three Austerlitz games from Napoleonic Scenarios Book Three, "The Attack of the Russian Imperial Guard". In this game Napoleon is rated 'Excellent', while the Russian commander, Grand Duke Constantine is rated 'Poor'. Those rating are from General de Brigade where the range was 'poor', 'average' or 'excellent'.

My question relates to the equilivant ratings in General D Armee where there are four ratings:

Is an 'excellent' commander the same as 'incomparable'; while 'poor' is the same as 'bluster'?

C,

Yes.

GdeB to GdA is:

Excellent = Incomparable.
Average = Campaigner/Commissariat.
Poor = Blusterer.
