Melee in works etc

I am adapting Picketts Charge rules to cover the Mexican American War. Bit of a leap I know! How would people cover fighting a melee in built up areas and in works like the defensive lines in Mexico or at Petersberg in the ACW? PC doesn't seem to cover such things or have I missed it? Garrison fire and melee in BUA are covered in GDA I notice so perhaps that might be a place to start? Any thoughts gratefully received.

I agree, I would use the GdA rules to cover fighting against BUAs and redoubts.

Defensive lines can be considered as manned trenches supported by redoubts and potentially wire, etc, deployed to the fore.
