IABSM Clarification: "Recon Bonus" Card

Post by Jaime MMP » Wed Oct 30, 2013 8:09 pm

Hopefully someone can clarify this for me please! The 'Recon Bonus' card description says, ...'When it is dealt, the player may activate any specified reconnaissance unit to take a bonus move using its Actions to move or spot but not to fire. This will not affect the unit’s ability to be activated as normal on their unit card.' Does 'unit' mean the whole unit (three armoured cars, for instance) or just one "element" of that unit (just one armoured car in a unit of several)? Thanks...
Jaime

I count it as the whole thing, not pieces of it.

YMMV.

I would say the whole recce unit. So at least a platoon operating together.

It allows you to activate any part of a recce unit but I generally assume IABSM activations apply to a platoon at least.
