Hi folks, noticed the discussion about Greek Infantry squad sizes. I am wondering if similar adaptations could be made.
For example, I notice in Battle for Liberation TFL recommends:
One rifle Group of 8 men
One LMG Group of 8 men with two LMGs
Question #1: Does the LMG group fire any differently? Or is just a visual thing?
Question #2: Sicily book has several Italian units given only two actions but BFL book makes no such reference. Although I am okay with only two actions for the really green troops.
Question #3: Found this old link to previous TFL discussion:

Richard, etc: I assume you would be okay if we tweak rifle squad sizes as needed per scenario?? For example, Skirmish Campaigns Elite scenario book for Sicily notes really large IT squad sizes..
Thanks in advance!

Re: Italian squad sizes and tweaking Battle for Liberation
Hi Dan
The LMG Squad gets an extra dice when firing for having two squad support weapons.
The two Action Italian squads in the Sicily book are deliberate. As usual in IABSM, they represent the fighting strength of the squad as opposed to the paper- or actual strength,..but tweak away. Just be careful of scenario balance.
