NEW! 1943 US Naval Air Op.in Norway Really?

Post by General_Pettygree »

Yes.

The Smithsonian Channel televised a documentary about USN Wildcat fighter aircraft in late 2020.
Part of it dealt with an interview of a living Wildcat pilot flying in Operation Leader.
In October 1943, two groups of USN aircraft were launched from USN Ranger escorted by the Royal Navy Home Fleet.
A Ju-88 and and large floatplane were shot down.

That got me to thinking.
My tabletop adaptation is here:

As a complete General Pettygree Battlestory.
The entire story is available right now.
You won't have to wait days or weeks for each story portion to be published.

Eye candy photos, dialogue, captions, ships, aircraft, fjord, mountains and personalities all tied together.
Scales: 1:48, 1/72 and 1/285.

Take a look with popcorn or cup of tea/coffee.
It is almost like a motion picture.

A most excellent "movie" with a great set of scenes and scenery. Well done!

My thoughts too - Gen. Pettygree's a budding Spielberg!
