I don't entirely disagree. I think a Task Roll, but combined with a "If you roll a 6 then you realise it's a dummy" would work well.

I am sure that is because SP2 is some years the junior of CoC and consequently benefitted from my eventual arrival at maturity.

Was being facetious with the remark abut Rich.....
.....however I have heard if you saw him in half like a tree, not only will he prove older than us you can find out how many pints of larger he has consumed over his lifetime......at least that's wot this bloke Sid told m on the interweb.

I object. :o
I’d recently started wearing long trousers when I took up playing with toy soldiers seriously, if you don’t count rolling marbles at them. :D
Length of trouser leg is not a measure of maturity. I’ve been Wargaming and wearing long trousers for 50 years now and the wife is still waiting for maturity to kick in. ;) :D

I think we were allowed long trousers in primary 7. So, as I started younger, about age 10. Slogging off to school in shorts and wellies in the snow wasn't fun. We were asked to bring our gym kit, so we could change from wellies into black plimsoles. IIRC I had discovered 'Battle' by Charles Grant, aged about then, cunningly hidden in my local library on shelves opposite my usual fare of W.E.Johns, Tom Swift, Perry Rhodan, Just William, and all the other horrors of 'Young fiction'.

As Jimmy Buffet says “growing older but not up”.
Suites me to a T except for my teenage years when I thought I was grown up.

On way to fifty years old now and me dear old Mum still buys me soldiers for Christmas.

Granted these days I am a little more specific about the kind I want.
Interests

Getting slaughtered by a surprising amount of opponents.
