1/300 Scale Ships

I am trying my hand at making some of my own hulls for To Covet Glory. My current project is the War of Jenkin's Ear. As such, there are some unique small boats to the conflict regarding the Spanish invasion of Georgia. These are the Scout Boat and the Piragua.

These are very tiny ships in 1/300 scale. I am getting closer to being done with the models. I have one set of changes after the pictured ones. Below are a set of painted ships from Sea Dog Studios - a six gun sloop and a twelve gun brig. The two large hulls in white are Simon Mann's models from Wargame 3d. They are a 6th Rate and a eight gun schooner. Of the tiny ones, the two larger ones are mine. The smallest is a Sea Dog miniatures row boat. These are all bound for the painting table this weekend.

Nice work Chris. Have you moulded/cast your hulls or 3D printed them?

Just a quick update. I think I now have usable hulls for Galleys, Galliot (Half-Galleys) and Fustas (Quarter-Galleys). I found a model on Thingiverse from Tosostefanots of a Genoan Galley. I have resized it from 1/250th scale to 1/300th scale and turned it into a waterline model. Then changed it a bit more. More info on my blog about it.

Isn’t it a pity that the warlord games black seas ships are 1/700th.
I have Prussian, Austrian and French armies in 10mm Pendraken and a good number of books on WAS.
I just like the larger cuffs and turn backs.
As with all wargaming the cost of accessories is often prohibitive in the larger scales (15mm & 28mm) Ships, fortifications and even houses.
