What about a civilian with a cart or mule or something, as if they are asking the way?

A few bits and pieces from Warbases and Ebay just arrived for this, I hope I have enough time to put something together. I'm looking at some ACW DPs.

Jim Snee asked:

Roadside cross or shrine. Something dead or broken. Smashed artillery piece, overturned wagon. Look in your spares box - I often find inspiration looking through mine.

I'm part way through my dps. I've changed them from ACW to Napoleonic Russian. I've also made some micro dice shock markers for next week's AWI revenge game.

Morning all,

Just a reminder that we are in the final week for submissions for the Deployment Point competition. I have seen some great pictures on the web which haven't been sent through to me, so if that is you please do so as we'd love to include them.

Cheers

Rich

Hello Rich,
Just sent some picked in. Since I tend to game scenarios in the wilds of North America, I went for a more naturalistic look. This has been fun, and I doubt I'll manage to get my more traditional DPs finished in time to submit them.

Well, I just got word from Shapeways that the pieces I created for mine are in the mail -- 7 days later than promised. :-/ Assuming they actually arrive on time that will give me about 6 hours from receipt to deadline. I don't think I will make it for the contest but I'm dang sure going to post them somewhere when they are finished.

Are they available for others to purchase on Shapeways?
