Female mounted civilian?
For the Escort Duty scenario I'm seeking a lady on horseback, to represent the General's (ahem) 'niece'. Can anyone point me in the direction of a suitable Regency/Napoleonic era figure in either civilian or pseudo military dress?

Elite wargames and models do a line of female figures in Napoleonic uniforms and you may be able to find something that suits or could be easily modified. Your other option is a closed carriage!

Smashing! Will check Elite out! I like the closed carriage idea too.

Had you considered the Margret of Anjou figure from Perry? It is medieval but it is clearly a woman in a long dress riding side saddle.

Eureka Miniatures do Lady Godiva, but that might make it harder to maintain the cover of the General's niece.

Have you had a look at Games Workshop's Brettonian Damsel?!...

Thanks Allan and Huey. I'll check those two out. But I think you're right Capt Fortier, it would be hard to keep up the pretence looking like that!

Ooooh, I can forsee a spot of chafing there, Captain! A definite handicap should there be "fisticuffs" later on....
