Hi all
any reviews anywhere of this ruleset? I'm looking for an alternative to BKC for rules that cover the SCW.
I'm hoping that I maybe able to do SCW using CoC, however I still want to play larger SCW battles - so how do these rules stack up?
Thanks in advance
Nosher

Last Hussar also provides a 2009 review, here.
Other than that there are only perfunctory or a promise to review after playing, but alas no follow up.
Right click on the red text and select "Open Link In New Tab" to go directly to the review.

The Last Hussar link is for TW&T not TOTW! I haven't played TOTW but would have thought IABSM would do well for SCW Nosher.
I play both BKC and IABSM for AVBCW and enjoy them both. I did a bit of a write up on using the two rule sets here http://www.pendrakenforum.co.uk/index.p ... 013.0.html
Personally I would say give IABSM a go. Looking at your other posts it's the same core system as Q13, so if you like one you may well like the other.

Re: Reviews of TOTW
Hi,
We've played SCW using IABSM here in Durham, although not in the last couple of years. There's a set of rule modifications specifically for it in the TFL Summer Special of 2004, called 'Up Your Cara El Sol', along with a scenario. This is V2 of IABSM of course, but the functional differences between the two are fairly minor and there's a guide on converting between the two.
Cheers,
Jim
