Dux China

Post by mellis1644 » Tue Feb 13, 2018 11:15 pm

Having watched a few of the many Chinese films on Netflix it makes me wonder if Dux would not morph well - with only limited changes needed, into an ancient Chinese setting. Anyone else had that thought ?

I know there was a Samurai version in one of the specials, which I need to pick up but china would allow for a whole series of different toys to be painted up and used. :)

I don't know much about Chinese history, but I don't see why not. Also, remember that, at it's heart, Dux Brit is a campaign system about your Lord rising to power. As long as your conversion remains true to that and the basic rule mechanics, I could see those interested in the period enjoying it very much.

I would love to see something like a Dux Three Kingdoms. Considering that there is already a conversion for samurais it should be fairly straightforward.
