3 player games, balanced gameplay?

Post by Rob » Tue Aug 16, 2016 12:20 pm

Hi there,

I also have a question about a 3 player campaign. (Pict, Saxon, Briton)

When the Picts attacks the Britons first in March will the Saxon player have an advantage attacking 1 of those because they most likey have received some losses and will wield less levy's/raiders?

If so in a 3player setup, it is Always beter to be the second attacker it seems.

Regards,
Rob

Rob,
We currently are playing a Club Dux campaign with 8 players (2 each British, Saxons, Scots and Picts) set in our home patch of central Scotland. To avoid the problem of someone attacking a weakened opponent second and thus take advantage of another's hard work, we rule that a losing player can summon up sufficient troops to defend at full strength against a new invader. (We don't take kindly to being pushed around up here. :D )
Works for us.
