I used it to show completed commissions, then I have been told that I cannot do this anymore since I am not a paying advertiser, even though several people do just the same. As a side note, I asked him at this point to delete my account and remove my details according to the GDPR but he refused to do it. Following this, I notified the thing to the Authority for Data Privacy.
Tis a weird place.
I can't help feeling it's harmful to the image of the hobby, what with the constant "I'm being oppressed" vibe and the "sociological* obsessions" of some of the regulars.

* Sociological: because they don't do politics - as any fule kno.

It's best monitored at arms length, and with rubber gloves, and someone else's long-handled tongs. I suppose if it serves any purpose it does give one a comfortable sense of superiority. I left years back and haven't regretted it. Occasionally, as with other posters, a Google search will direct me there, and I hold my nose and duck my head under the sewage for a quick look. It's an odd place, now peopled with odd denizens. As someone wiser than me said, it's as well it exists, otherwise they would be loose in other forums and lists.

Ironically, being a bastion of free speech. That original thread had been cancelled. It is no more, it is an ex thread 😂

Well, they need pine no longer as Editor-in-Chief Bill has had to "let them all go due to the economic downturn". And only a month after he announced how well TMP was doing financially, as well. Frankly, the guy couldn't run a bath.
