Already have a 1st Edition which I use primarily for Lexington/Concord refights.
No plan survives first contact with the dice.

They are a beautiful set of rules, which clearly stated its intent to represent "Hollywood" film versions of cavalry involved in Indian fighting in American West; with spin offs for colonial gamers playing imperial powers fighting in Sudan, or Zululand, or North West Frontier of India; and other spin offs like "March or die" that focused on French Foreign Legion fighting in North Africa.
Their impact can be seen in modern ruesets such as playing Mr Babbage in "The Men who would be Kings".
