West Midlands UK

Thought I would post this as it might be of interest and I had never heard of it despite being reasonably local and it has been running for over a decade.

My wife has booked a trade stand so I will be there all weekend. I really NEED to see the CVR(T) stunt team

Ok, is it just me, or is there something wrong with a family day out advertised as: 'The ultimate family day out! You will never see such a spectacular display of dozens of tanks firing, crushing cars and speed demonstrations, all in the UK’s biggest tank arena!'

I might be wrong, but even as a wargamer I have an issue with blowing things up and crushing stuff as being a 'family day out'. A day at the seaside, or visiting the Natural History Museum, or a Steam Train Ride yes.. celebrating war machines? Not so much. I am reminded of Moorcock's 'Bretannia'.
