A II Matilda I and Daimler dingo scout car.

Post by JOHN BOND 001 » Sat Dec 14, 2019 12:10 pm

Two interesting vehicles I decided to add to my BEF.
The Matilda is like a mobile pillbox with an armour value at 6 at support list 3 and I think the the Dingo is a cool little vehicle.
Both vehicles are 3D printed and they are my first purchases of 3D printed models, from OTP Terrain and Resin miniatures. follow the link for more pics and info:

Very nice work, and two of my favourite vehicles. Given how small the Dingo is, it does give you an idea of the scale of the Matilda.

Excellent work, Mr Bond! I have looked at OTP and was impressed - however, the postage from Oz to the Old Country is so horrendous, it would almost be cheaper to buy my own 3D printer (and a bigger house to put it in!).
No plan survives first contact with the dice.

Perhaps you could save a few quid and just fly over here and pick them up? I know, I know, I should write for Viz.

Great work John, love the Matilda I, such an unlikely tank.

The Dingo is of course available from 'Paint and Glue' much closer to home.

I'm sure Paint and Glue could do the Matilda I if you asked. I have OTP stuff as I live local but with access to a high end printer at the local library these days, I am printing my own, albeit slowly due to both their time restrictions and my own. French armoured car and R-35 on the list for today.
