Evening all

Very please to say that you can now join us to listed to the very first Lardy Oddcast.

Hosted by international man of mystery, Sidney Roundwood, you can hear Nick and Rich talking about what Lard means to them as well as finding out what the Oddcast has lined up for the future and news of what is in the pipeline from Lard Island.

You can find it here: http://toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/?p=7046

It's our first attempt, so hopefully not too shoddy.

Cheers

Rich

Am listening now on the road- great intro music - reminds me of a 1970's comedy show :D

Yes, it's a great piece - it's actually the main theme to Man In A Suitcase, also used as the theme for TFI Friday.

Ditto - the Goons Show, in my case of deja vu.

And I enjoyed it, surprisingly enough. It's the first podcast I've ever stayed with for the entire journey. Loved the "What is Lard?" discussion especially.

Indeed, composed by the great Ron Grainer. He did some cracking themes.

Oozeboss, in the sign-off at the end, I wanted it to sound like an old Goon show. So well done you.

I hope you liked the music, I had to pay £200 for the rights to use it AND 0.00015p each time I play a bit.

Anyway, the idea is to have the Big Issue bit discussing something important in detail for each show. Next month Sidney tells me he the Big Issue is "Is 6" enough". I will let you guess what that's about...

Of course, that isn't to say that Roger Barraclough and his band weren't actually in the studio with us playing live...

Oh no.
