All suggestions for adjustments using the current CoC WW2 rules are on the blog. Assault rifles were the only real change using existing WW2 rules. Any other suggestions for changes mainly AFVs are also on the blog including weapons specifically from the NAM era.

NB: The Cold War playtest rules do revamp the shooting table and effects however these would be revealed if and when released.

Was the assault in the second scenario launched by just one NVA squad? If so, then yeah, that's suicide. In CoC in general, you want an enemy force to be pinned before you assault them (which is pretty realistic).

He attempted a human wave assault with 2 units however as he was limited to a 2 dice assault due to terrain he was unable to get the other unit in. The results of the assault certainly went the way they should have. One thing I have been thinking about however is whether or not a bonus of defending hard cover should be given to a defender if the attacking unit starts and ends its move move in same terrain. I can definately see arguments for and against.

Thanks for the army lists. I have wanted to try and use CoC for Vietnam but the problem was putting together armies. You have solved that problem!
