Right, bit of a bugger this one. Good friend of ours, brilliant figure sculptor Richard Ansell has died. I've put a piece on Lard Island News, here: https://toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/?p=8076
Not the best bit of prose in the world, but I need to get my head around this before putting a proper obit on paper. Well known for his great sculpting work, he did all of the limited edition figures for us. Every time you play Chain of Command and use a Jump-Off Point, that is one of Tricky's sculpts. Silly sod didn't go to the vet quickly enough when he got poorly. Very sad indeed.
Cheers
Rich

So sad. Met him a couple of times at Lard Island in the early days of IABSM and LFS. Quick witted, funny guy. Talented sculptor. A very sad loss. Sending the best to his wife and friends.
Re: Sad News About Richard Ansell
His rapier wit was up there with his sculpting. A massive loss to the hobby, and a very sad day indeed.
Thanks 'Woody'.
