Re: Couple of questions

Thanks for the clarification that's great because as written it is a little ambiguous.

Couple of questions

Couple of questions

Where in the rules does it say Non drilled troops can move and throw javlin when activated before entering close combat?

If a named leader is killed and the unit he is attached to wiped out, is his card removed from the pack?

Thanks

Re: Secenario 3 On Patrol Objectives.

I'm just playing that mission now and we played it that way, especially as any terrain within 12" of their deployment zone is considered scouted.

Re: 15mm on a 5x3 table

I'm using 15mm figures based for DBM/FOG. This means my infamy groups have an 8cm frontage but with twice as many figures. So 16 to a group of warriors rather than 8. I just play 2 figures for every one and it seems to work well. And looks pretty good with a decent number of figures on the table. I ...

Re: Over Kill

Great. Thanks. That's how I've been playing it but suddenly had a crisis of confidence and needed a bit of reassurance. :D

Over Kill

Firing at a section in the open that is down to 4 men on the rifle team and 2 men on the LMG, I get 7 hits. These are split, 3 on each team and I decide to put the odd numbered hit on to the LMG. When rolling for effect, the LMG gets 3 kills, wiping it out. What happens to the third kill? Is it lost...

Re: Entrenchments from a previous battle

It doesn't really make sense for a minefield, barbed wire or road block to suddenly disappear if they were not cleared during the battle, especially as the next battle fought on the same map may be taking place just a few hours after the last. However, as TT says, on the Hatebook discussion the cons...

15mm Suggestions?

OK. I'm looking for suggestions. I already have Roman, Germanic and Gallic Armies but all in 15mm. Figures tend to have a frontage of 40mm and variable depth, infantry 15mm, cavalry 30mm for example. Legionnaires/warrior types are based 4 to a stand. Slingers/Archers 3 to a stand. Basing was origina...

Re: A bit confused by the army lists

I'm not sure where you are looking but List one includes Exploratores and Supra Numerum Leader; List 4 has Engineer Group with Cart and List Twenty prepared Defences. In the actual book these are listed in a box titled SUPPORT OPTIONS.

Re: Zero, Zero!

Arabic numbers used today in the Middle East actually look like this:

٠ ١ ٢ ٣ ٤ ٥ ٦ ٧ ٨ ٩ ١٠

But they also sometimes use the Western "Arabic" Numbers - which as I previously posted actually originate from India - usually in tourist areas and road signs.
