Lard at Huzzah?

Last year at Huzzah (held annually in Maine in May) I put on a SP2 game set in the Peninsula and plan to do so again. I wonder if any others plan to put on a TFL game at Huzzah?

Thanks!

Re: Spanish mini-campaign... a new start

Leigh,

I was able to get to his rules at this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/119UT8s ... CrbTC/view

As to the dragoons, they look like Front Rank to me...

Capt Fortier, I believe that figure is from Brigade Games Napoleonic Spanish range. Here is the link:

I believe that there is also a mounted version as well.

Re: AP against Bunkers

I can see both points of view on this and understand twelve is a lot of dice, But for the support points, I think I would be more likely to purchase an 8cm mortar.

Perhaps this will get clarified in the revised PDF.

Thanks,

Re: AP against Bunkers

I can see the argument for counting the twelve strike (and while the term may "sound more like WaT, it does appear in the COC rules twice on p.55) dice as HE, I don't see why it would not reduce cover. The argument that it doesn't say so in the support description is not compelling to me... I looked...

Re: Errors on SP2 PDF

I am running IOS 11.4.1 but have never had a problem going back some two years with earlier versions so perhaps it’s an IOS 12 issue?

Re: Errors on SP2 PDF

pixelgeek,

I am looking at the SP2 pdf in GoodReader right now on my iPad and have no problem. I have used GoodReader to highlight, make notes, correct errors in points, etc., all without issue. Are you using the most current version of GoodReader? I think that I am using 4.13.

Re: AP against Bunkers

TT: actually, the term is used in COC. On page 55, where the procedure for fire on vehicles is described, the term A.P. strike factor is used with the factor being the number of A.P. dice. Also, the number of 12 strike dice/factor which is higher than the 88 normally has for HE. For example in COC E...

Re: AP against Bunkers

John: I think that both the number of dice (12) and the type ("strike dice") imply that they are A.P. dice versus HE so I am not sure if anti-personnel is intended here. I wonder if it might be an omission in the handbook... and from the name given the support, "bunker buster," I would expect that i...

Re: AP against Bunkers

How does the off table Bunker Buster support option from the 1940 Handbook fit in to this discussion? It says that the Flak 36 rolls strike dice which I assume are from an AP round (“When the Flak gun is activated, it rolls 12 strike dice, hitting as though firing at Close Range.“). That said it is ...
