I've already got the Commandos covered :)

My display board is going to be the beach and steps at Puys minus the casualties. Note the enfilade bunkers above the Germans head. Landed on this beach without tanks too.

It was the whole concept that got me, the sheer boldness of the plan. The original plan was much better: land away from Dieppe (Quiberville some miles west) and attack Dieppe from the landward side but the Army decided that was too hard and a frontal assault was needed... Then if they bombarded Diep...

This has been a long time in the planning... I've been looking on and off at Op Jubilee / Dieppe raid for some time (probably 10 years on and off) and I've finally made a start. Problem was tanks, obviously you can;'t do Dieppe without Churchills and they are a mix of varaints. MkI, II and III plus ...

Agreed,
The unit will remain broken until the end of the turn.
If you rallied them, ended the turn and then they broke then that would be a BTH test.

I might have missed it but what mission were you playing? There is nothing wrong with waiting a bit for a favourable command dice roll (Just don't take the piss or your opponent will leave...) You would never start an attack on the back foot! Your units in LOS of all that hard cover will always lose...

As above - the list tells you what thye have, they are based on a 'normal platoon' so will geernally be KAR98s with the NCO with a MP40. Some support lists will allow you to add special wepaons like MP44s but I'm not sure which might. If you are coming from BA you will find there is a lot less choic...
