Re: Plast Craft Games 15mm EWAR buildings

They might be a fraction too large, but I only noticed it if I placed a single miniature right next to a door and looked for it. The overall size and shape of the building as a whole looks pretty close. In my overview, I position a couple models near the buildings for size comparison. You can see th...

Re: Plast Craft Games 15mm EWAR buildings

Good question, I would have to say probably not as durable as a resin building, but on par with plastic buildings (especially ones that need assembling). I think the main difference is that where a plastic and resin buildings might smash/ snap/ break, these won't as the material is softer. These PVC...

Plast Craft Games 15mm EWAR buildings

Morning Everyone, I am not sure how many of you have seen these, but I came into possession of a set of 15mm Plast Craft Games EWAR buildings. This set has 5 buildings, on 4 bases, and is made from a PVC/ Foamcore style arrangement. They have nice details and are easy to work with given the material...

Re: Zvezda 1:100 vehicles

Those new kits sound great!
Grabbed a StuG the other day once the LGS restocked, can't wait until the new stuff is released.

Thanks for the link Sigur, checking it out now.
I agree about not being the focus of a modeler, more for gamers.

Re: Zvezda 1:100 vehicles

Too late on the trucks! Have already assembled a Matador and while it all went together, there seemed to be a lot of superfluous parts.

The truck doesn't seem quite as good as the armoured vehicles, can't quite put my finger on it, but I think a repaint will fix that.

Re: Zvezda 1:100 vehicles

Great, thanks guys.
Agreed modelers may not like them, but they seemed great for wargaming.

Will keep note of the 222.

Zvezda 1:100 vehicles

Hi Everyone, Not sure if anyone has seen or played with any Zvezda kits/ vehicles. I have 15mm forces for CoC, and stumbled upon the 1:100 scale Zvezda vehicles. They seem pretty good. I took a look at the Panzer III here: http://playingtheodds.com.au/zvezda-1100-scale-vehicles-quick-view/ Pop over ...

Ah ok fair enough. That makes sense.
How are you finding it compared to Drivethru?

Re: Almost Historical Fiction

Congratulation Chris, well done.
If the work is a good as your other publications, it will be a great read.

I went to check the Drivethrufiction link and it seems to not be available, or at least it doesn't think a product by that name exists.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: hull down

Some good suggestions there. We usually also only allow it for predetermined positions (usually nominated/ declared at the beginning of the game), or if a vehicle can get all of it's hull behind/ under hard cover. For an SPG or low profile vehicle this usually means it is a specific dug out position...
