Re: CoC Campaign: Crossroads, Closing the Gap

Thanks John,

I appreciate the feedback.
I really have no idea why some of those icons aren't showing but I'll keep looking.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: CoC Campaign: Crossroads, Closing the Gap

Hi Everyone, After fielding a few question, I have created a new Errata which will be compiled into v1.3 of the Campaign. The document hasn't been updated yet, I just thought I would give you a heads up and chance to comment if need be (before I update the document). The plan will be to update the d...

Re: CoC Campaign: Crossroads, Closing the Gap

That sounds pretty good John.
A good way to keep all the players involved. The good thing about demo games is you can set the supports before hand to whatever suits you.

Hope it all goes well.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: CoC Campaign: Crossroads, Closing the Gap

Hi John, I am sure we'll get to the bottom of it, and once we do then it will be sorted for next time. I think this is a meaningful discussion with relation to the campaign or otherwise, so don't feel it is a distraction. I saw your initial AAR, it looked like a good game. Your board and setup looke...

Re: Misinterpretation of the Common Arsenal

Thanks Seret, that is good to know.

Just quickly though, do you know how the 250/1 without crew comes in at List 2 but the 251/1 without crew comes in at List 3? They essentially have the same values when it comes to armour and armament.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: CoC Campaign: Crossroads, Closing the Gap

Hi John, I see your point on the 250 and UC Recce Section. I think you might be spot on there. The 250 and 251 would be on the same Support List if they both had no crew, so yeah I agree with your comments about the crew costing more. Something I didn't notice at the time, but can now also see is su...

Re: Crossroads campaign- rivers

Sorry, no that isn't the intent. To clarify, the rivers should only be crossable by Infantry (and probably man-portable weapons). Vehicles and guns need to cross at crossings (otherwise holding the bridges would not have been as important and vehicles could have crossed the river at any point). I'll...

Re: Crossroads campaign- rivers

Hello, Sorry it looks like I omitted this information! Any rivers are able to be crossed and should be counted as a major obstacle , as per Section 7.2 Terrain and Movement in the CoC rules, when not crossing at a bridge or crossing. This is due to the steep river banks and depth of the river. Hope ...

Q13 conversion for Dropzone Commander

Hi Everyone, After a while playing Dropzone Commander we found the game ultimately left us feeling a bit short. Love the miniatures (10mm scifi plastic or resin) and have a lot of respect for Hawk Wargames but we have decided to see if we can fill our small scale scifi needs by converting the DzC ar...
