Re: Armor values

It's quite sad that this forum is so quiet... TW&T is one of the best games put out by the Lardies and it really has never gotten the attention that it ought to. To answer your question, yes all vehicles have a single armour value, which is actually the same as in IABSM. The differences between fron...

Re: Italian Army Organization

TW&T use to give you the full strength section numbers but had a built in system for determing casualties that hadn't been replaced from previous battles. Best of both worlds, I suppose!

Shooting and Squad Cohesion

The rules are not particularly explicit about this, but is there any cohesion distance for soldiers in a squad/section or team (presuming your models are based individually)? My assumption is that teams from the same squad can operate at any distance and visibility from each other and still activate...

Re: How Many Big Men?

Thanks, I think I agree... if they're not Big Men, then they're not on the table. That helps me figure out the other problem I had anyway—I like to field one rifle stand (4 models on a 2.5" base) as a squad, but the FoW early Soviet infantry company doesn't come with enough HQ stands to support that...

Re: Winter War Blinds

And here are some cards. There are three different back options to choose from (neutral, Finland-themed and Soviet-themed), but the cards are all the same. They are 3.5" by 2.5", the size of most trading card sleeves. By the way, I am correct in presuming that the IABSM cards listing "Allied Anti-Ta...

Winter War Blinds

As part of my next project, I threw together these Winter War themed blinds for IABSM and thought I'd share. They are 6.25" x 4" for printing and come in US Letter size and A4. Re: Beginner Questions

Speaking of the Area Fire rules, 7.1 Area Fire with HE say that attack rolls are reduced by -2 pips per dice for each action spent doing something other than attacking, but all the examples (pg 46 and 52 of the iPad version... Sherman 76 vs Osttruppen and 6-pdr vs PzIV) seem to indicate it is just -...

How Many Big Men?

I know the rules are really quite flexible about this, but I was wondering what is a sensible range of big men per side, presuming a "company plus" level game. I am planning a 1939 Strelkovy Rota with 3 Vzvody (platoons) of 4 Otdeleniya (rifle sections) each. If taken too literally, this would mean ...

Gotterdammerung and Other Updates?

Hi chaps, I seem to remember Gotterdammerung being available during IABSM 1st or 2nd edition, but I can't seem to find it on the website now. Does anyone know if this has been updated for 3rd edition and made available yet? What about the other supplements (In the Shadow of the Rising Sun, Blitzkrie...

Re: Running a game at the Hobby Bunker this weekend

Tom, looks like it was a great game. I couldn't make it out this weekend, but hopefully you will run another one at Hobby Bunker soon so I can give it a shot!
