Both teams must be visible too I assume. So to create the most complicated scenario, if there are two teams visible when I fire (within 4" of each other) but only various members are in cover (others are open), when you split, you first split the kills and than take off those in open, and continue ...

The small reference you have about multiple vehicles is not a rule associated with "small" it is a common English language description. The vehicles in question could be large compared with the rule for targeting a small vehicles. Also the activating on a 1 or 3 relates to the command structure not ...

Ahhh right was thinking of the other one All American. The problem with the Force ratings is using the 2 section US platoon. You would need to add in a support option of a 3rd Section at say +6 then it might work as elites - otherwise you are correct the FJ's with 3 elite section with 2 LMG each is ...

Ah right now I understand.
They only get damage rolls in the mortar players turn.
We tried it in both phases but it was a bit too strong.
