Not really, as i use movement trays as per picture. Just change the base if needing to change formation.

Without the bases yes it can be fiddly, but doing as i did help hugely.

I was going to try an amendment on my next game this Sunday.

In essence if you give an infantry unit an assault order successfully, then the unit does not need to check if its hesitant again until a unit within the brigade becomes unformed or the brigade completes its objective of the assault order

I play using 6mm figures but opted to use 15mm measurement when it came to range/movement. This was done to speed things up for a club night. For small units i use 4 bases, 6 for normal and 8 for large. Each base has eight figures (two rows of 4) I stumbled on this as Baccus supply men in strips of ...

I found 6mm are the easiest to paint and build an army. It was the only way for me to start from scratch and build two sizeable forces. Most standard infantry consists of 48 men, cavalry 12 men. I normally complete a unit every other evening. Tend to only take a few hours to complete.

Hi, Soon to play my first game. I’ve watched the YouTube videos but what I am puzzling is moving obliquely by 45 degrees. In the battle game on YouTube the highlanders move at about 90 degrees to fire on the flank of the French. Is this allowed? I was assuming by 45 degrees it meant i could swivel a...
