Re: HE vs Bunkers

In doubt, I think it's probably best to consider the period, not the rules.

Re: How many of my squad can fire, or how many figs per cm of front?

I think 1 CI for "Squad to fire" would permit those not in a position to fire to move so they could. So if they moved 1d6, those would fire at half effecct, 2d6, not fire. Activating as a section is less adaptable, so wouldn't

Re: Effects of shock on infantry carrier and passengers

I do agree that in this case, if the crew dismount, they carry their "vehicle shock" with them as a separate team, and then automatically rejoin their parent section, carrying the shock with them as normal. I found Soviets quite useful myself.
The Elite Scout Squad is a major plus. And the DSHK HMG is not to be sneezed at either, but the main bonus is the havoc the Wrath of the Gods causes on the opponents deployment.

Re: Von luck and Lorraine schlepper

Yeah, there's a rule which says that if they're dug in (for free) they count as badly obscured, can't move, but ignore that rule.

Theres no special rules for the Belgian Carden Lloyd frc 47mm. Its a support option iin the blitzkrieg book. In reality they were used as static guns along the meuse by the Frontier Cyclists and were no longer mobile on May 10th. p35 of Blitzkrieg: "Carden Loyd mk Vi with FRC M1931 Players fielding...

Re: Von luck and Lorraine schlepper

Does anyone know if it was actually used as a assault gun rather than mobile artillery? Well, it's an SP howitzer so yes, most of the time it's delivering indirect artillery fire. However, SP artillery was sometimes brought up to the front and used for direct fire, especially when the enemy were he...
