Re: ITLSU Reading List

Thank you Martin! Majority of my WW1 research and books are all from western front or covering specific areas, sadly not much on middle east operations, although this is a nice push to get some!

ITLSU Reading List

Hello, just picked up these rules and would like to read up on some of the campaigns for the period. I've found a book by Anthony Bruce: The Last Crusade: The Palestine Campaign in the First World War. Has anyone on here read it and does it do a decent job of describing some of the brigade level act...

Re: Scatch built MDF buildings number 4

Nice start! and wonky lines just add to the character. I fully buy into the school of thought that any mistakes just make it more unique.

Re: ANCIENT SHARP PRACTICE - DISCIPLINA ET VIRTUS

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the D&V aspect, or is it just me that chuckled when they read that? This is what comes from being in the British Army.

Re: Gembloux Gap Reinforcements

ah I stand corrected. From reading that passage it sounds like there is a separate "reinforcement" force that can be called up. I may have to pick up this PSC to read it all in more depth!

Re: Gembloux Gap Reinforcements

It may be referring to replacements? There is a formula in AtSE:
(Dead+CO's rating/2)+1D6

I don't know the exact wording in the Gembloux Gap PSC but given there is two opportunities to replace entire the platoon I suspect this refers to something different.

Re: Gembloux Gap campaign (updated 05 10 19)

How much are you ruing that opportunity to shoot at the broken LMG with SL and JL attached? I think that may have been one of the critical moments in the game. A big drop in french FM at that point could have been a big help.
