Re: Wildcard Deck Suggestions

"No Fuel" sort of like shabby nazi trick - but for a German vehicle, can't deploy that TURN unless owner rolls a six, going down to 5 or 6 for next turn etc. Wouldn't need to affect all vehicles, could be a single one if you want to be less brutal. TURN rather than PHASE to make it more variable and...

Re: Deploying

Read it, loved it, re-tweeted it! I agree with you, patrol phase and deployment/command dice seem to be where most people struggle, or end up seeing it as a "bad mechanic" or a fault of the game system. I really like your all articles on the mechanics and tactics, I try to re-read them from time to ...

Re: PSC advice

Christmas Special 2017 has the Road to Bremen 1945 campaign. MLB / Tactical Painter has a rather engaging AAR if you want a taste of it first:

Re: Starting in 6mm (WW2)

Realised after this I had based my LMGs in the wrong way, or at least different to my previous ones!

Some tanks and AT guns, with Big Men tanks on 2p pieces.

Re: Starting in 6mm (WW2)

Yes! Although been a bit busy so haven't played with them yet. I've been waiting for some 6mm roads to be delivered and then I will certainly have a game. Need to sort out some chits as I'd prefer that to cards, other than that I think I am all good for a wee game of IABSM.

Re: WW2 6mm Hex terrain and Lard games

Ah Beautiful! So good to see you posting your work here! The wide shots of the whole area are just lovely, I can see why you want to get some toys on the table.

As always - can't wait to see more!

Thank you,

Gillies

Re: Starting in 6mm (WW2)

Thank you! Close to getting them on the table too. I've got some tanks and supports to base and then I should be all set. Well aside from making up some chits/cards for IABSM!

Re: Starting in 6mm (WW2)

Hi - they seem to do 8th army although I'd have to say at 6mm size you could just paint regular infantry in jungle garb and it should work?! throw in some indian troops for variety perhaps?

Re: chain of command & IABSM

Can't say I have, although I imagine it should be relatively simple to scale down the forces to fit using CoC rules. Platoon for Company and support lists based off the company supports? Did you have a specific one in mind?
