Re: Making my own roads

Conclusion on the roads for now: https://nottherivercottage.blogspot.com/2018/09/the-long-and-winding-roads.html Hendrik - thanks for your advice, it has really paid off adding the static grass I think. Added static grass with the use of a cobbled together applicator after watching some youtube vide...

Re: Making my own roads

Yeah they warp a little with all the stuff being added but you can bend them back and they "unwarp" and hold that shape. Really useful material!
Thanks for the tip, going to give the static grass a go today. I think some grass standing up will help it look less flat maybe?!

Re: CoC Malaya 1942 campaign (updated 7 09 18)

Great AAR, I'm enjoying following this campaign, so thank you for sharing it. Good to see some tactical play on both sides and shows the difficulty in having a distraction or fixing force hold the attention of the enemy but not getting overwhelmed. CoC seems to be rather superb at allowing these tac...

Re: Making my own roads

And thank you Hendrik!

Having some folk appreciate the work is great for the old motivation. Next stages covered here:

Moving on to metalled roads next, or hard top roads, or whatever they are known as!

Re: Making my own roads

Thank you Gunnar and John!

The downside to my current work space is that as it is not very warm things take a while to dry. Hoping to get some more progress on them after work this week.

Making my own roads

Hello, long time lurker here but giving the whole "posting stuff" a go! I've been working on some roads for my table, not finished yet but thought I'd share my progress so far.

Criticism is welcome, constructive preferred.

Re: Making Pak 40 and LeIG 18 Ammo Boxes

If you don't want to make them you could try Anyscale models on Ebay, I've found them well priced and always get excellent service. And of course you could always pick up stuff you don't need at the same time :?
