Re: WW2 6mm Hex terrain and Lard games

Very nice! Really like the paint job on the hetzer. Happy to wait for 6mm buildings, still working on hedges and scatter pieces.

Medium or large mortars on table

Hello! Quick query I was perusing the rules and in the "recruiting your force" section under the British it mentions Mortar Platoon, with 6x 3in Mortars, 5 crew each. So far I had expected that other than small or light mortars (2in, 50/60mm) all others would be off table. Is that correct? Thank you...

Re: WW2 6mm Hex terrain and Lard games

Trees look lovely, the church looks massive! Can't wait to see it all together and painted up.

I was checking through your blog, do you have a tutorial or step-by-step on how you make your 6mm buildings? or where you learned from maybe? I'd love to try it and I like your results!

Thank you,

Gillies

Always lovely to look at your setups! One of the swing factors that made me start in 6mm. Excellent as always.

Re: WW2 6mm Hex terrain and Lard games

Tijnemanske - I use 1mm static grass, I got a load off ebay from a seller called Serious Play ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_ssn=serious-play&LH_PrefLoc=&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=1mm+static+grass&_sacat=0 ) I find the 1mm works well, I don't use an applicator, just a small sieve to br...

Re: WW2 6mm Hex terrain and Lard games

I took advice on this and based my 6mm tanks (only got a few so far!) The barrels a re so thin I think you have to in order to try protect them better. I used MDF, simply to tie in with all my other forces. I used 30x30 squares for infantry so did the same for the tanks, I then based one on a 2p (25...

Re: Wildcard Deck Suggestions

"No Fuel" sort of like shabby nazi trick - but for a German vehicle, can't deploy that TURN unless owner rolls a six, going down to 5 or 6 for next turn etc. Wouldn't need to affect all vehicles, could be a single one if you want to be less brutal. TURN rather than PHASE to make it more variable and...
