So no platoon HQ. Would British add a PIAT and a two-inch mortar per platoon, or is that too detailed for this scale?

Is there somewhere that will tell me what various nationalities' battalions will look like? If it's in the rules, fine, but being able to paint up a Russian or British battalion would be good.

Like other fixed defences (barbed wire, minefields) they are placed after the patrol phase. Since you have to buy them as supports, they are placed after both sides have bought them. But before you define what type of engineer you have on your force (if you have bought any).

To be honest, I like the 'd6 - 3' algorithm works for me. Mine clearance should take a while. While you could add an alteration for casualties and/or shock, that's a complication too far for me.
