Re: Fondler's Surprise scenario AAR

I have been following your The Medetian Wars blog for a few months and I very much like your AARs. They are giving me lots of inspiration for my own SP games (I have started with SP in 2014 only).
So thanks for sharing this wonderful AAR!

Re: Activation of Artillery Group?

Glad you like my report. I came up with this small scenario because I have a very nice sapper mini I wanted to put to some use. We played the same scenario one more time with a slightly changed "blow up machanism: We gave the french side more control over the moment of the detonation by - measuring ...

Re: Activation of Artillery Group?

Thanks a lot for your most valuable comments! Together with the comment from the yahoo group I now have a much better understanding of how to handle the odd artillery piece in a sharp practice game. There is still a lot to learn for me on Peninsular War OOBs I see. I have got most of my knowledge fr...

Activation of Artillery Group?

After my first SP game (where my son pounded my peninsular Brits with his frog-eating 12 strong french companies), I am happy to paint more figures for future games. Among others, I want to have a group of foot artillery with a medium gun, but I am not sure about how to command/activate them: Giving...

Boys ATR Stats

I can't find the stats (AP rating, range) of the Boys ATR in the rulebook. Would they be the same as for the Soviet anti tank rifle (AP=3, HE=1)? Which range bands should be applied to the Boys ATR?

Thanks for your help,
Maerk

Re: 28mm German light mortar and pioneer figures

Thanks for your valuable information, Pilgrim. It leaves me somewhat confused, as the late war Germany army support list two (CoC rulebook p.85) counts a 5cm mortar team. Page 86 gives some more details about it. Since it has no smoke ammunition it may be less advantageous than its british counterpa...

Re: 28mm German light mortar and pioneer figures

Exactly what I have been looking for. As I am new to the ww2 era, I don't care too much for the details of their gear.
Thank you, Truscott!

Re: 28mm German light mortar and pioneer figures

Yes, I am building a late war force and I already have got me the German Heer pioneer Panzerschreck and Flamethrower teams set. It contains exactly what its title says: One Panzerschreck team and one flamethrower team. So I am still looking for miniatures wich I could use for a wire cutting/mine cle...

28mm German light mortar and pioneer figures

I am building a british and a german CoC force out of Warlord's 1000pts Bolt Action army sets. While in the british set there is pretty much variety, the german miniatures and accessories are restricted to the platoon's core material. There is not much to create figures for the support list options....
