Re: British 95mm CS tanks

Thanks TT.

I saw the same article.

I found further information showning some crews didn't think the 95mm howitzer was a particularly weapon.

Re: British 95mm CS tanks

Thanks TT.

What you say is true. The 25pdr always had a longer barrel.

I've over thought this issue. I will use a strike rating of 5.

British 95mm CS tanks

Hi All, The strike rating for the 95mm howitzer mounted in British CS tanks is different in the rule book and battles for liberation. For example, Pg78 of the rule book shows the Cromwell CS tank has a strike rating of 5. By contrast Pg27 of battles of liberation shows the Centaur as having a strike...

Re: In Sydney, looking to try

Our game absolutely amazing. This was my first game. I found the rules easy to understand, but all players were forced to make difficult tactical decisions, which is exactly what a good set of rules should do. We played in 28mm with 2 Panthers, one STUG, 2 Cromwells, 1 Sherman, 1 Achilles TD. The ga...

Firing smoke

Hi All, I'm new to WAT and I'm yet to play my first game, so everything I thinking may be based on ignorance. I mostly play British, as no one in my group at the time had British. One of the methods I've used to deal with Tiger and Panther tanks is to fire smoke to blind the vehicle. The aim is to f...

Take cover rule

Hi All, I'm about to play my second game of M&B. Rule 4.5, talks about as group taking cover; I haven't been able to find anything in the rules that defines what take cover means. It's possible I have missed th. definition. I was thinking of using th same approach as the "tactical movement" option i...

Re: Australian Tankers?

Hi,

I'm at Parramatta, western Sydney.

In 28mm I have Cromwells x3, Achilles Tanks destroyer, Churchill, Daimler armoured car x2, Dingo scout car x2.

In 15mm I have early, mid and late war British. And, mid and late war Russians.

I have the rules but haven't played a game yet.
