Re: Senior leader activating Junior leader

All good clean fun Tom, not withstanding a few mess ups, it was a great game.

Re: Japanese List

I could not find the list on Benito's blog, but did find it on the Yahoo site in the file section. http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Toofatlardies/files/Chain%20of%20Command/USMC%20and%20Japan%201944%20Army%20List Unfortunately you will have to get a Yahoo account. The whole process of going into t...

Re: Senior leader activating Junior leader

Yes I did wonder about this, essentially we were trying to move the JL off the table. On reflection, I believe that the only way that could happen is the JL himself having CI. I see no where about transferring CI.

Re: Trial virtual game

Sounds good, if you could post an updated graphic, I will give you my next move. I would have deployed behind the hedge if I did not have the next phase, but ending up with the next phase emboldened the Germans to deploy to the east of the hedge with the plan to move to the next hedge thus enabling ...

Re: Trial virtual game

The Germans have been lucky, I think I will wait for the ruling re the placement of the second German squad. I agree about using one 2 to get the northern squad under cover. If the 2nd squad ends up east of the hedge I would move them, otherwise I might consider moving on the 3rd squad as you descri...

Re: Trial virtual game

I would have thought that the German squad would have deployed east of the hedge. The red marker is scaled to 6", the deploy distance if I have it right. It clearly falls to the east of the hedge. I think a good proportion of the squad would deploy to the east of the hedge although it is a little ob...

Re: Trial virtual game

Clearly having difficulty with terrain rules. But it will not change the move.

I will hope for the best with the dice gods.

Re: Trial virtual game

I would use the 3 to deploy a squad with a JL off the middle JOP 6" to the east and fire at the US behind the hedge. They would deploy in line facing east. I would use the 2 to move the northern most german squad south and deploy behind the rubble at the crossroads again in line but facing south ea...

Re: Trial virtual game

I am not sure I would be defensive when I have two activations in a row. I would use the 3 to deploy a squad with a JL off the middle JOP 6" to the east and fire at the US behind the hedge. They would deploy in line facing east. I would use the 2 to move the northern most german squad south and depl...
