Re: Losing Fervour & Javelins

Following on with another question about Fervour...

Does a supporting group in combat lose it's Fervour? I'm thinking of what happens when it is then used to 'Push Up' - does it retain the Fervour it had when the Mob entered combat or not?

Thanks Richards, that seems the best way to go...

Re: Cavalry base sizes?

"I'm glad I'm not the only one. ;)" To be honest, I've stopped using sabots. For anything other than skirmishers (which i base individually) I now use a group base made from two layers of 1mm MDF, with the top layer cut smaller than the bottom one so it gives a very low edge profile. i then build in...

Re: Figures for Briton lists

Yes, Victrix Gauls would be suitable. If you want to have a more 'Barbarian' looking force use a higher proportion of the bare-chested figures, along with the naked fanatics. Remember though you don't want the limed 'spiky' hair. I have used WestWind Production's heads on some Gauls to make my later...

I am also offering specific Victrix units, in accordance with the II lists. Again these wi...

Re: Cavalry base sizes?

Greg, if you're going for 3 x 25mm cavalry bases = 75/80mm unit width, are you using approx 80mm wide base for your foot?

Cavalry base sizes?

I'm just starting to work out my Gallic force and wondering how others are basing their cavalry? Singly, in pairs, in threes... What base size are you using? I'm not keen on sabot bases*, so for my foot I'll be using a multi-figure base of all 10 models with shock and casualty dice-holder built in a...

US artillery, and probably their militia, would be 'poor shots'.
