Italian squad sizes and tweaking Battle for Liberation
Hi folks, noticed the discussion about Greek Infantry squad sizes. I am wondering if similar adaptations could be made. For example, I notice in Battle for Liberation TFL recommends: One rifle Group of 8 men One LMG Group of 8 men with two LMGs Question #1: Does the LMG group fire any differently? O...

Re: Range bands for LMG teams
Hi Jim... nice to "see" you again. Thanks for clarification. I think that makes sense for magazine-fed LMG like Brens, BARs, Italian-side-fed, etc but... I think I will go with a house rule of 0-18 and 18+ for MG34s with 50-round canister or 50-round belts but reduce rolls of 6 to 5. Thanks!

Range bands for LMG teams
Do stand alone 2-person LMG teams fire as follows:
0-18 inches = Close Range
18 inches or more = Effective
Thanks

Thanks

Re: Force/ unit play sheets
I have not seen one.
The short answer is to base your squads with a mix of figures: e.g. one 4-man base, one 2-man base and two 1-man bases....then just remove casualties as needed.

Re: Question, Scenario #14, Anzio book, Robert Avery, help
Adding this reply I got from Robert himself on Facebook (for the record): That's my bad, I'm afraid...or my good, dependent on how you look at it. When I first started writing the scenario books, I was well aware that people only have access to certain sized tables, so I never specified the size, ju...

Thanks! I thought that would be the case but since there was not that explanation in the text I wasn't quite sure what to do.
